Tessings is a collection of four pieces that have been in the works in one form or another over the past year.
The idea behind this release (and many of my others) is to highlight and process the things that have influence over me, placing them in a package where seemingly disparate and sometimes distant ideas can coexist to form a cohesive whole. This is a release framework that comes naturally to me - we are multifaceted people, and it should only make sense that our art reflects that. I value "stupid" and "goofy" (complimentary, I swear) music just the same as I do the pieces that put me at peace or cause me to (over)think existentially.

Tessings carves a certain path through its runtime. The "A" side opener "Ush Ryophyta" takes the form of a particularly kaleidoscopic chunk of that midwestern folk music Techno, paired with "Insee E", a piece that (I have been assured) is both extremely stupid and supremely goofy. As foreshadowed above, the "B" side we could consider A Different Shade, starting with "Lah Ikei", a set of samples and a two-five-one that have lifted me in a way that I hope they will similarly lift you. Finally, the send-off is "Tem Lasa", a bit of music for when you find your slackjawed best friend on the dancefloor at 8am, sun streaming through the dusty windows, give them a big hug, and say "I love you, buddy."
